Beyond Believable Burger!

I love to bite into a good old burger. Especially back in the day, when my family would do them on a hot grill outside. There was nothing like that juicy burger on a bun, with some mustard and perhaps a little bit of cheese. I have to admit, that is one thing that I loved about meat eating. I never thought I would ever be able to get that back, and so, I just moved on to the plant-based burger staples. The black bean burger or the famous “GRILLER”, which I for one can’t stomach. The only one that I was able to find myself enjoying was the Boca Burger brand. That was as close as you could get, I thought, to the taste of a true burger. Until one day, my husband told me about this “BEYOND BURGER”. I thought to myself, “Yea, another veggie burger claiming to fill the void“. I wasn’t going to get my hopes up.

But, this time…it was the REAL DEAL! Yep, I watched him put it in the pan and warm it up. I was kind of freaked out because it started to omit a smell that resembled one of dare I say, “REAL MEAT”. Then, I just thought, “NO, DON’T BE FOOLED GIRL”. Then, I came back over to the pan and saw it putting out juices that made me think, “Wait, this isn’t your typical veggie burger. This….this is something else”.

This is what the burger looked like out of the two burger package. Kind of like you just got if from the local butcher, freshly ground or something.

When my hubby was done we got our plate together, ready with the mayo, mustard, tomatoes and such. When he placed my burger on the bun, I was trying to prepare myself to be disappointed, to be ready for the let down. However, that’s not what happened. When I took the first bite…I was floored. This was a REAL BURGER! THEY LIED, this is MEAT! We both were so pleasantly surprised at what we had found. A true plant-based burger, vegan burger, that satisfied our burger hearts from back in the day.

YEP, this one is the real one folks…and we encourage you to go check it out from your local grocery store. We purchased it from Kroger, sitting right next to the ground meat. Yep, you heard me right, sitting in the meat department, right next to ground beef. The cost was about $4-$5 per package, and you get two patties in each package. I say it was worth every penny!

Try it out and let me know what you think. I will be doing a drawing in the month of February for a free Gift card, and those who actually go and try the product, comment and send pics will be placed in the drawing. So, remember to let us know how yours turned out!

Thank me later 🙂

  1. I forgot to take a picture of the completed product. It slipped my mind after I was George Foreman grilling them and it looked liked Blood was draining from them. Them jokers was delicious.

What’s even better was Facebook was giving a $1 off coupon yesterday.

I figured it was the color of the veggie-meat and the spray I used on the grill that created the draining blood look.

I walked past this thing and never knew what it was because of the area it was in. Smack in the middle of the hamburger (beef, turkey, & pork I’m sure) section. Never took the time to explore because of where it was located.

It’s a sermon in there somewhere. Either as Christ’s Followers watching their conduct or we will blend in with the world and a person couldn’t tell the difference or no matter where you are continue to be Christ’s Follower as you are because your environment should not change you, you should always still be different, whether anyone notices or not because our Father notices.

Kinda can hit it from a couple directions or angles. 😊😆🤣😂
